Completed in 1965, this residential tower is celebrated for its mid-century interiors and modernist façade. Panoramic views shaped an elegantly minimal design approach during a remodel that combined two units into a single residence. A classic Venetian terrazzo installation with brass divider strips, poured over a lightweight, soundproof floating floor system, defines the interior. A continuous poured-in-place six-inch base terminates with a precise quarter-inch reveal at adjoining wood finishes. On the exterior balcony, a polyacrylate terrazzo system extends material continuity beyond the interior. Perfectly calibrated material selection accentuates the tower’s clean lines and commanding skyline presence.
