Peacock Parlor

This terrazzo floor establishes a bold, branded interior anchored by an Art Deco-style peacock theme that instantly connects the ice cream parlor to its setting. Located within Lagoon Amusement Park, founded in 1896, the design references the park’s iconic peacock population. Soft greens, blues, and gold tones combine with glass, mirror chips, mother-of-pearl, and marble aggregates to evoke classic Art Deco palettes. Hand-bent brass divider strips trace feather eyespots, quills, and curvilinear forms across the floor, subtly guiding circulation.
