The luminous terrazzo installation in this global law firm’s offices centers on a sweeping circular stair that brings calm elegance and clarity to the upper levels of the 43-story high-rise, framing expansive city views. A sleek micro-blend terrazzo with glass and marble aggregate provides a neutral backdrop that unites the architectural expression. Shaping the space and organizing directional flow, terrazzo reinforces the stair’s sculptural presence as it rises from a hand-poured, asymmetrical terraced platform with an integral bench and crisp curves. The locally sourced project achieved LEED Platinum, Fitwel 3-Star, and WELL Platinum certifications.
