Shoppes at Bayshore Tampa International Airport

Inspired by the beach, this inviting, LEED-certified flagship store is on the top floor of Tampa International Airport. The epoxy terrazzo’s nicely flowing pattern, reflected in the ceiling, will provide long-term durability for a high-traffic location. Six intense colors evoke different shades of the ocean and the sandy beach. The iridescent aggregate mix, brightened with clear and mirror glass, mother-of-pearl, and white marble, is consistent over several colors to unify the color palette. The terrazzo contractor employed a template system to transfer the aluminum strip pattern to the substrate.
