Sanfilippo Perfume Passage Museum

The installation of this museum-quality floor in a private museum dedicated to the artistry of perfume bottles and related items was the architect’s first project using terrazzo. The sophisticated design of curves lines up with millwork and responds to lighting and mechanical requirements. Installers produced over 100 samples to bring the design in six colors to life. All dimensions were calculated with CAD; field measurements were placed into a shop drawing and then transferred by hand to the floor. All divider strips were hand bent following radius templates.
