The nineteen pieces of art showcased in this six-color epoxy terrazzo floor are exact representations of microscopic images of nano-engineering breakthroughs. The artist drew each piece of art by hand, and the school’s technology department reviewed and revised the designs for accuracy. The designs were converted to digital format, and raw metal was transformed into exceptional works of art, with over 3,000 linear feet of divider strips installed with mitered joints. The artist was on site daily during the strip and logo installations.
