Meringoff Properties

This spectacular Palladiana terrazzo installation was produced with marble shards sourced from the same French Blue de Savoie as the wall panel cladding for a monolithic impression. The irregular two-inch shapes were hand-set in a rhythmic composition with amazing uniformity in the half-inch spacing. The existing staircase was clad with the same Venetian terrazzo in precast segments while appearing to be seamlessly formed of a single piece. Perfectly detailed steps reveal the surfaces of the marble shards taking the turn of the nosing, finished with eighth-inch brass strips for slip resistance.
