The owners of this iconic 1942 diner embarked on a transformative expansion project. Built on its original site, the new diner tripled in size to accommodate up to 20,000 customers weekly. Terrazzo, a traditional finish in the mid-century American diner aesthetic, takes center stage again. Within a harmonious composition of form, light, and color, custom-designed motifs in epoxy terrazzo subtly facilitate wayfinding, with terrazzo tabletops to match and easy-care toughness to withstand high traffic for decades to come.
