Apollo Career Center

Originally built in 1976, this center helps high school students and adults access academic and career options. The campus needed additional space, infrastructure upgrades, and more energy-efficient systems. This LEED-certified project nearly doubled the size of the facilities, resulting in an atmosphere more conducive to learning, with state-of-the-art classrooms and labs. The center continued operations during the renovation, demolition, and construction of the new addition. This purposeful design and dynamic terrazzo color mix fit the building and its use while responding to existing materials and design elements.
