Central to this church restoration is an exquisite epoxy terrazzo floor. Beautifully appropriate to the space, the floor’s composition complements the structure and the cohesive interior design. The contractor respected historic materials and the original design intent of the 1880 structure while implementing modern technology and integrating air vents into the terrazzo. The precise continuation of the design from the central path up to the altar with vertical divider strips exemplifies the detailing of the project. Artisan-crafted and poured-in-place in a five-color geometric pattern, the highly durable finish delivers low-maintenance practicality.
