Chicago Magic Lounge

The terrazzo floor, installed during a renovation of a 90-year-old building, is beautifully integrated with the architecture in this inviting space. The 3D stacked block pattern with its classic colors and brass divider strips contributes strikingly to the 1920s speakeasy vibe in this lounge dedicated to magicians. The craftsmen executed the concept from a general layout and succeeded in achieving the desired look within a small area. An unusual feature of the installation is a copper wire induction loop system that connects to hearing aids, embedded under the membrane in the floor.
